I Can for Kids is able to reach thousands of hungry kids in Calgary through the help of our trusted frontline community and agency partners. Our partners see the effects of childhood hunger firsthand and are eager to work with us to provide children and youth with nutritious meals and snacks all summer long. By maintaining a constant connection to our partners and the kids we serve, we keep our perspective fresh and respond to changing needs, so we can feed them when, where, and how they need.
Calgary Housing Company manages a variety of housing options for Calgarians not well-served by the regular housing market. Rental rates vary according to program and vary from deep-subsidy social housing to Low End of Market rentals which are rented at approximately 10% below average market rental rates. Applicants to all programs are subject to income limits and other qualifying factors.
